Homebound Delivery Policy

Effective 25 June 2025 – all prices include VAT.

1. Delivery Services & Prices

† Collection fees are charged together with the delivery fee at the start of the rental; no further payment is required when items are returned.

2. Delivery Area

We currently deliver only to London and the Home Counties (Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Kent, Surrey, and parts of East & West Sussex and Oxfordshire). If you’re unsure whether we cover your postcode, please contact us before ordering.

3. Delivery Timeframes

  • Orders are guaranteed to arrive within 14 days of payment (most arrive within a week).
  • Deliveries occur Monday–Friday, 08:00–18:00.
  • Weekend or evening delivery may be possible on request and will incur an additional charge.

4. Preparing for Delivery

  • An adult (18+) must be present to sign and inspect the items.
  • Please measure doorways, lifts and stairwells and advise us of any access challenges (e.g. narrow staircases, fourth-floor walk-ups).
  • For White-Glove service, our team installs items in the chosen room and removes all packaging.

5. Failed or Missed Deliveries

If our crew cannot gain safe access or no authorised person is present, a redelivery will be arranged with the following fees:

6. Swaps During Your Rental

You may swap an item at any time for a £99 fee per item. After the swap, your monthly rental will automatically adjust to reflect the price of the new item starting from the next billing period.

7. Returns & End-of-Rental

  • We will contact you one month before your rental ends to arrange collection, extension or swapping.
  • No further payment is needed for collection – the fee was paid upfront with your original delivery charge.

8. Risk & Insurance

  • Risk for rented items passes to you upon delivery; ownership remains with Homebound.
  • Please maintain suitable insurance against loss, theft or accidental damage for the duration of the rental.
