Keep It Circular

We have partnered with the British Heart Foundation as part of our pledge to keep furniture in homes and out of land fills.

Why?

Every year 22 million pieces of furniture end up in landfill in the UK, despite over 50% of it being reusable.

By partnering with BHF, Homebound is helping you be part of the circular economy, allowing your furniture to be enjoyed by someone else, while supporting a good cause.

What can I donate?

This service is not for returning any Homebound rental items. It's for any furniture you own that you would like to donate.

You can donate all types of furniture, including mattresses and upholstered beds.

For quality and safety reasons, the British Heart Foundation can only collect items that are:

      • In a saleable condition
      • Free from wear and tear, and heavy stains
      • Upholstery must hold a valid fire safety label

How does it work?

You can contact The British Heart Foundation directly to arrange collection of your unwanted furniture at a time that suits you.

They will then sell it in one of their 700+ shops throughout the UK, and the proceeds will help fund life-saving research. So you can get rid of your unwanted stuff, without throwing it away, and feel good about it too.

This service is free of charge. Just visit bhf.org.uk/homebound or freephone 0808 250 0227 to arrange your collection.
