Should you wish to keep any items, the rental payments you make will contribute towards ownership, and you will never pay more than the buyout price.

Here’s a three-step guide to how we work.

1. Choose Your Furniture

Simply pick the pieces you love, how long you want them for, and we'll do the rest. We will take the first months payment when you place your order. After that, your monthly rental will be charged on the same day of the month that your furniture is delivered, starting one month after your delivery date.  

2. We'll Deliver & Assemble

Our team will deliver, assemble and arrange your furniture, all within two weeks of you placing your order. We’ll take care of your items from start to finish—not leaving until you’re happy with how they look.

3. Swap, Keep or Return

Fancy trying something new? You can always swap your items to mix things up. Fallen in love? If you decide you’d like to keep your furniture, you can buy it for the retail price minus the amount you have already paid towards the item. Want it a bit longer? You can extend your rental at a discounted price. Or, if you decide it's not for you, simply return your items and we'll find them a new home.

We pride ourselves on keeping things simple to alleviate any stress that comes with moving, relocating or just changing your mind.

How will my delivery/order be affected by the current COVID-19 situation?

We monitor the situation and local orders from government, so while things are always subject to change, here is some helpful information:

  • We are currently doing deliveries, pick ups, and swaps as usual.
  • We are using extra precautions to keep our employees and customers safe.
  • Things are changing rapidly, so we may contact you to change your delivery/pick up date and time.
  • Should our team or someone in your household have any risk factors or signs of illness, we will need to reschedule your appointment. But don't worry - we'll save your items for you!

What is the 14 day cancellation policy?

At Homebound we want to make sure you're happy with the products you are getting. We also know it can be hard to pick furniture online. So to give you peace of mind we offer a 14 day cancellation policy.

This gives you 14 days from the delivery date to change your mind. This can be done on any products in your order.

What are the benefits of subscribing to home furniture?

Moving and furnishing your home can be a burden, costly, time-consuming, and stressful. We want to make it as easy as possible to furnish your home with the right pieces that suit your taste, without the commitment of owning furniture. We pride ourselves in focusing on providing quality furniture that’s affordable. Our shopping experience makes it simple to get those pieces you really want. Taking the hassle out of getting your furniture home, we’ll deliver and assemble it for you. Do you want to change things up? No need to worry! You can swap your items, buy them out, or simply have us collect them!

How quickly will I receive my item?

We try and deliver to you as fast as possible as we know how painful it can be to wait to get your furniture. We aim to deliver within 7-14 days, and we deliver Monday through Friday.

What happens if I accidentally break or stain an item?

Don't stress, we know life happens! We want you to use the furniture as your own as it’s made for living. We can typically get most stains out to make the furniture look as-good-as-new once we receive the furniture back at the end of your subscription.
